    ORDER OF THE BOARD (by J. Theodore Meyer):
    This matter is before the Board on a status report and request for extension of stay filed
    December 23, 1996 by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency). The Agency
    states that the present matter is subject to a stay pending approval of the United States
    Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) of the Board’s rulemaking R94-21, an amendment
    to 35 Ill. Adm. Code 218 Subpart DD, and a revision to Illinois’ State Implementation Plan.
    The Agency further states that the Agency attorney originally assigned to this matter has
    resigned and that only recently has a new attorney been assigned. The Agency therefore
    requests that the stay in this matter be extended.
    The motion for stay is granted until March 17, 1997. The parties are directed to file
    status reports, either jointly or separately, no later than March 17, 1997.
