    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
     
    On July 29, 2004, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with the
    hearing officer. Petitioner has received respondent’s full comments along with attachments on
    the revised remedial action plan. Petitioner’s consultant is reviewing the comments and working
    with respondent. Petitioner is organizing a meeting with respondent’s RCRA and site
    remediation personnel to devise a final, clear-cut plan to remediate the site. Ideally, the final
    plan would be in place in time to implement next spring.
       
     
    The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the hearing
    officer at 11:00 a.m. on October 28, 2004. The status conference shall be initiated by the
    petitioner. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the
    above-captioned matter.
     
     
    There is an open waiver of the decision deadline in this matter.
