Re:
Indian Refining Company v. illinois
Environmental Protection Agency
Case No. PCB 93-k
(RCRA
Permit Appeal)
7
Dear Ms.
Sudman:
On behalf of Indian Refining
Company (now part of the AWR Liquidating
Trust),
I write with
regret that we have not
been able to secure the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency’s input
on
the future of the land farm that
is
the subject of the above-referenced
appeal
in order to
file
the “joint” status
report as ordered by the Board.
The undersigned has attempted on numerous
occasions, both orally and
in writing, to
request the IEPA’s thoughts
on the issues
surrounding
the land farm closure.
Consequently,
Indian Refining
Company is
unable to file the joint status
report today (the deadline having been extended by
21
days to July 29, 2003
by the Board).
Please do
not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding the foregoing.
Very truly yours,
Daniel T.
Graham
