ORDER OF THE BOARD (by C.A. Manning):

On November 19, 2002, the parties timely filed a joint notice to extend the 35-day period
within which Wabash Valley Service (Wabash) may appeal an October 11, 2002 determination
of the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency).
    See
    415 ILCS 5/40(a)(1) (2000),
    amended by
    P.A. 92-0574, eff. June 26, 2002; 35 Ill. Adm. Code 105.406. The Agency
requested that Wabash’s high priority corrective action plan include an explanation of why the
soil and groundwater contamination encountered on site is upgradient of the underground storage
tank release area. The request concerns a leaking underground storage tank site at 207 East
Sycamore Street in Ridgway, Gallatin County. The Board extends the appeal period until
February 13, 2003, as the parties request.
    See
    415 ILCS 5/40(a)(1) (2000),
    amended by
    P.A. 92-
0574, eff. June 26, 2002; 35 Ill. Adm. Code 105.406. If Wabash fails to file an appeal on or
before that date, the Board will dismiss this case and close the docket.

    IT IS SO ORDERED.

I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, certify that the Board
adopted the above order on December 5, 2002, by a vote of 6-0.
