    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
     
    On April 11, 2005, respondents Wooten Construction, Ltd., and Smithfield
    Properties L.L.C., represented that they are proceeding with discussions with their consultant
    and affected homeowners regarding an attempt to resolve this matter. Wooten also represented
    that it will discuss options regarding remediation with the homeowners within the next 30 days.

    ) represented that it still anticipates that a
    settlement will be reached.
     
    The parties or their legal representatives are directed to appear at a telephonic status
    conference with the hearing officer on June 23, 2005, at 11:15 a.m. The telephonic status
    conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
    own appearance. At the conference the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the
    above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
