HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 29, 2009, the complainant informed the hearing officer that it is presently
reviewing a draft stipulation and proposal for settlement (stipulation) and is optimistic
that a stipulation will be filed prior to the next status conference. To that end, it was
agreed that respondent’s answer or other pleading is now due to be filed on or before
September 30, 2009.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to appear at a telephonic
status conference with the hearing officer on September 10, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. The
telephonic conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless
responsible for its own appearance. At the conference the parties must be prepared to
discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If,
however, a stipulation is filed prior to the next status conference, the conference will be
cancelled without prior notice.
