Dear Ms. Gunn,
Due to family commitments, I was unable to attend the meeting at Cary Junior High
regardingthe potentially disastrous Waste Transfer Facility that is being proposed once
again in Cary. As a 13-year resident ofCary, it is unthinkable to me that there be a
Waste Transfer Facility built in the Cary area. Cary has it’s own share ofproblems
created by the rapid and continual growthin the area; the last thing we need is adding
additional water, resource, smell, pollution, and traffic problems to our community.
We have lived with (and will live with) 2 & 4 lane roads for years in this area. They are
crowded now, at times very over-crowded, especially with construction trucks, etc. Why
would anyone even consider allowing the massive congestion and disruption oftraffic
which will be created by the trucks that will be going in and out ofthe waste management
facility all day right in the very center ofour largest and busiest intersection in town???
PLEASE DON’T ALLOW IT!!! We are strongly against this potentially hazardous
resolution!!! We insist that you protect our community and our children. We want to
preserve Cary as it is today...please don’t allow the air, water, noise and land pollution
which will be created by this project to destroy our community!!
Ifyou need to contact me, please call me at 847-516-3708. Ifthere are additional forms I
should complete to voice how adan~antlyI am against this project, please let me know.
Thank you in advance for your attention in this manner.
Tainmy L. Bauer
