JOINT STATUS REPORT
Respondent Midwest Grain Products ofIllinois, Inc., pursuant to Hearing Officer Order
ofJune 8, 1999, and with the consent of counsel for the Complainant, hereby files the following
status report.
1.
The Complaint was filed in this case on April 7, 1997.
2.
On June 8, 1999, following a telephonic,status conference, the Hearing Officer
ordered that joint written status reports be filed on August 2, 1999 and October 1, 1999, followed
by a telephonic status conference on October 8, 1999.
3.
Midwest Grain continues to work with the Illinois EPA toward the issuance ofa
PSD permit. Midwest Grain is curre~itlyconducting air modeling using data furnished by Illinois
EPA. Following completion ofthis modeling Midwest Grain will submit its completed PSD
application to Illinois EPA for its review.

The parties are continuing to make progress toward resolution ofthis matter.
