HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On June 24, 2004, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The complainant represented that settlement discussions have been ongoing and
that the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency is reviewing a supplemental environmental
project submitted by the respondent. The respondent made an oral motion for an extension of
time to file its answer. The complainant had no objection. Respondent’s motion is granted.
Respondent’s answer is now due to be filed on or before September 27, 2004.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to appear at a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on August 26, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the conference the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the
above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
