HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On June 17, 2004, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The complainant represented that the draft stipulation and proposal for
settlement (stipulation) is being reviewed internally and that it will forward the stipulation to the
respondent for its review within the next two weeks. The respondent made an oral motion for
extension of time to file its answer. The complainant had no objection. Respondent’s motion is
granted. Respondent’s answer is now due on or before September 9, 2004.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on August 19, 2004, at 10:45 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
before the next status conference, the status conference will be cancelled without further order.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
