HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On January 6, 2005, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The respondent made an oral motion for an extension of time to respond to
complainant’s motion to strike or dismiss respondent’s defenses. The complainant had no
objection. To that end, respondent’s motion is granted and its response is now due on or before
February 1, 2005. No further extensions will be entertained without just cause. The respondent
represented that settlement discussions are progressing.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on February 23, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
