Illinois' mercury rule :

- Requires coal plants to reduce their mercury pollution by 90 percent by 2009

- Does not allow for "pollution trading" schemes that would let some polluters b their

Does not contain loopholes that would let some coal plants avoid installing the best available

pollution controls.

We should do everything we can to protect our children and all of us from the health

threats posed by mercury
