HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On May 10, 2009, the respondent informed the hearing officer that it had a
scheduling conflict for the previously scheduled May 14, 2009, telephonic status
conference. The respondent represented that it has spoken to the complainant and the
parties agreed to continue the telephonic status conference to June 15, 2009. The
respondent represented that it has reviewed a draft stipulation and proposal for settlement
(stipulation) and has commented on it.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic
status conference with the hearing officer on June 15, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. The telephonic
status conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless
responsible for its own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared
to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If,
however, a stipulation is filed prior to the next telephonic status conference, the
conference will be cancelled without further notice.
