I have observed the effects of mercury when my sister lived in Milwaukee . They had
trouble with companies dumping mercury into Lake Michigan and it resulted in alewives
and salmon populations decreasing over a short time period
. I know that you don't
want to go down in history as a corporate lackie who rubberstamped dangerous
legislation that could negatively effect our ecosystems . I appreciate the fact that
