HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On September 20, 2007, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference
with the hearing officer. The parties represented that settlement discussions continue and
that the parties anticipate that they will know if a settlement is possible prior to the next
status conference. To that end, complainant must file its response to respondent’s
motion for leave to file answer instanter, on or before October 11, 2007.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic
status conference with the hearing officer on October 4, 2007, at 11:45 a.m. The
telephonic status conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is
nonetheless responsible for its own appearance. At the status conference, the parties
must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness
for hearing.
