HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 12, 2006, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with
the hearing officer. Respondent has received bids for a sound wall and a geothermal
solution. Complainants believe that a sound wall will not adequately address the
problem, and respondent’s attorney plans to recommend the geothermal solution at
respondent’s executive meeting next month. If respondent does not agree to implement
the geothermal solution, a discovery schedule and tentative hearing date will be set at the
next status conference.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the
hearing officer at 3:00 p.m. on September 11, 2006. The status conference shall be
initiated by the complainants.
