HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On January 6, 2009, the parties participated in a telephone status conference with
the hearing officer. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency has agreed to a
reduced penalty amount in light of respondent’s financial situation. Respondent’s
attorney is seeking approval for the proposed amount from the city council.
The parties are directed to participate in a telephone status conference with the
hearing officer at 11:00 a.m. on April 6, 2009. The status conference shall be initiated by
the complainant.
