Reason for the Withdrawal:
The Board determined that additional hearings should be held in the noise rulemakings in
order to address issues that have been raised in public comments. The Board also found
that some ofthe site-specific rules contained in the existing noise regulations should be
reviewed and may require changes. Because these Sections were not included in the
Board’s original first notice publication, the Board is withdrawing this first notice
proposal. The Board will hold an additional hearing on the noise regulations before
proceeding to first notice with a new proposal.
