The Board opened this rulemaking to propose updated regulations governing noise found

Iii. Adm. Code Subtitle H, pursuant to Sections 27 and 28 of the Illinois Environmental
Protection Act, (415 ILCS
5/27-5/28
(2002) and

Iii. Adm. Code Part 102 Subpart B.
On July 10, 2003, the Board adopted a first-notice proposal in this proceeding and the proposed
language remains the same. The Board is holding additional hearings in this matter to allow all
interested persons the opportunity to present testimony on the proposed rules. The hearing
officer will establish the order ofthe hearing the day ofthe hearing. An additional hearing will
be scheduled at a later date.
