    (NPDES Permit Appeal)
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by G.T. Girard):
On June 6, 2007, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago
(petitioner) filed a “Motion to Voluntarily Withdraw its Petition for [National Pollutant
Discharge Elimination System] Permit Appeal” (Withdrawal). In support of that withdrawal,
petitioner states that “it is appropriate to withdraw its appeal” following the issuance of a final
modified NPDES permit which essentially moots the issues raised by petitioner’s permit appeal.
Withdrawal at 1. The permit appeal is in connection with the expansion of petitioner’s Lemont
Water Reclamation Plant. In light of petitioner’s withdrawal, the Board dismisses this case and
    closes the docket.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, John T. Therriault, Assistant Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, certify that
the Board adopted the above order on June 21, 2007, by a vote of 4-0.
    John T. Therriault, Assistant Clerk
    Illinois Pollution Control Board
