    ORDER OF THE BOARD (by E. Dunham):
    This matter comes before the Board on a “Motion for
    Extension of Time to File the Record” filed on November 9, 1994,
    by the Lake County Board (Lake County). The record is to be
    prepared by Lake County and is to be filed on or before November
    17, 1994. Lake County is requesting an extension until December
    8, 1994 in which to file the record.
    Lake County states that the Lake County Clerk was to prepare
    the record but was involved in preparations for election day.
    Lake County contends that an extension of time is necessary due
    to the size of the record and the demands of election day
    administration. Lake County represents that neither the Alter
    Group or USA Waste object to the granting of the extension.
    Hearing in this matter is scheduled for December 15 and 16,
    1994 in Lake County, Illinois. This matter also has a statutory
    decision deadline of February 21, 1995.
    The Board grants the motion for extension of time. The
    record in this matter is now due to be filed on or before
    December 8, 1994.
