    ORDER OF THE BOARD (J. Anderson):
    This matter comes before the Board on the petition for
    variance filed by the Department of the Air Force, Scott Air
    Force Base, on April 27, 1992. The petition, which seeks a
    variance from certain water pollution control regulations,
    includes a waiver of public hearing.
    Where a petitioner for variance relief waives a public
    hearing, an affidavit supporting the facts set forth must
    accompany the petition pursuant to 35 Ill. Adm. Code 104.124.
    The petition is deficient in that it includes no affidavit
    supporting the facts it contains.
    If an amended petition curing the noted deficiency is not
    filed within 45 days of the date of this order, this petition
    will be subject to dismissal.
