ORDER OF THE BOARD (by J. C. Marlin):

This matter comes before the Board on two motions filed by

the petitioner, Waste Management of Illinois, Inc. (WNI). On

August 16, 1991, WMI filed a motion for leave to appear before

the Board pro hac vice. WMI requests that Angus Macbeth,

licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and the

State of New York be granted leave to appear before the Board in

this matter. The motion is granted.

On September 5, 1991, WNI filed a motion for waiver of

decision deadline. In support of its motion WMI states that the

parties may be able to resolve the issues involved in this

proceeding. WMI requests an open waiver of decision deadline and

that hearing be postponed indefinitely. Although a waiver does

not require a motion (35 Ill. Adm. Code 101.105), the Board

accepts and grants this motion.

The parties are hereby ordered to submit a status report to

the Board’s offices by December 12, 1991.
