    Respondent.
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by B. Forcade):
On January 30, 1987, the City of Rock Island filed a
Petition for Variance, seeking relief from regulations on
restricted status and standards for permit issuance as those
regulations pertain to limitations on Trihalomethanes (“THM”)
That petition is deficient in that:
On page 5, the petition states that THM
samples taken since 1981 have ranged from
0.033 to 0.346 mg/i. The petition fails to
provide the exact dates and locations of each
sample, as well as the individual test results
so that the Board may properly evaluate the
    extent. of the problem.
Unless an amended petition is filed within 45 days of the
date of this Orlder, curing the above—noted defect, this matter
    will be subject to dismissal.
Petitioner is requested to provide the risk factor estimates
issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency when
    promulgating the national trihalomethane standard.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
