ORDER OF THE BOARD (by B. Forcade):

On December 26, 1985, the People filed a motion to Close the

Record in this matter, citing S.C. Industries’ failure to file a

closing brief in a timely manner. On January 8, 1986, S.C.

Industries filed the closing brief and a motion to waive defaults

for late filing of briefs.

The Board grants S.C. Industries’ motion to file brief

without default. Having accepted the closing brief, the Board

grants the motion to close record as of January 25, 1986, and

extends the time for filing the People’s reply brief until

January 25, 1986.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
