ORDER OF THE BOARD (by I. Goodman):
On February 17, 1982 the Board received a Petition signed by
six persons requesting the Board to amend its January 21, 1982
Order in this matter. These persons identified themselves as
taxpayers in the Schaumburg Park District and requested that the
Order be modified to suspend the monetary penalty. The penalty
assessed by the Board was a part of a stipulation and settlement
agreement proposed to the Board and signed by both parties in this
action. The terms of this proposed settlement had been
the
subject:
of a public hearing held on December 16, 1981. No objection to
the penalty was voiced at that time, other than to reduce the
amount by $10.00. The Board accepted the stipulation and proposed
settlement as amended in its Order of January 21, 1982. These six
persons cannot now be attributed standing in this proceeding. The
petition is therefore dismissed.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
