PCB 79—72
HIGHLAND HILLS SANITARY DISTRICT,
Respondent.
INTERIM ORDER OF THE
BOARD
(by J.D. Dumelle):
An Opinion and Order of the Board was issued in this
case on November 1, 1979, ordering Respondent to submit a
compliance program to reduce excess infiltration into Respondent’s
sewer system within 90 days, including target dates for securing
federal funds, if necessary. A program was received by the
Pollution Control Board on January 31, 1980, and by the Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency on February 11, 1980. Agency
comments were received by the Board on April 14, 1980, indicating
deficiencies in the program as submitted. These deficiencies
were outlined in a letter mailed April 7, 1980, to Mr. George
E. Doscher, president of the Highland Hills Sanitary District.
The Board is unaware of any attempts by the Respondent to
remedy these deficiencies.
It is therefore ordered that within 60 days of this Order
the Respondent remedy these deficiencies and submit acceptable
written changes in the compliance program to the Board and
the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
IT
IS SO ORDERED.
