    Petition For Variance with
    the Illinois Pollution Control

Petitioner sought a variance from Rule 203(h)
of the Water Pollution Regulations (Chapter 3) in order to
apply Noxfish (rotenone) to the Omaha City Reservoir to reduce
    the population of stunted bluegills.
On April 10, 1975, the Board requested more inforr~ation

    No
additional information has been received by the Board.
    Specifi-
cally, no information is given on arrangements to collect and
dispose of the dead fish nor on precautions to be taken so that
citizens and other potential users of the Reservoir are properly

    ministration of the toxicant.
We note on the original Petition
For Variance that the Omaha Reservoir is a public water supply
