INTERIM ORDER OF THE BOARD (by Mr. Dumelle)
The petition filed June 25, 1973 with the Board is inadequate
since it does not give the frequency of dosage nor does it discuss
the alternative of using biodegradable algicides. Further, the
resulting copper concentration is given as 2.2 ppm which is far in
excess of the 1.0 mg/i maximum set by the U.S. Public Health Service
Drinking Water Standards.
Petition is given 30 days in which to file an amended petition.
Waiver of the 90 day decision period for the portion of time elapsed
until the new filing is made is required. Failure to do the above
shall subject the petition to dismissal for inadequacy.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Christan L. Moffett, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify the above Interim Order was adopted on the
______day of June, 1973 by a vote of __________________________________
