HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On November 13, 2008, a telephonic status conference was held. The parties represented
that they are proceeding with discovery, but that respondents requested an extension of discovery
dates. On November 13, 2008, the respondents filed an agreed and amended proposed discovery
schedule. As it was agreed to, that amended discovery schedule was accepted. The discovery
schedule is as follows, as set forth in the November 13, 2008, filing. Both parties to propound
and serve written discovery on or before November 17, 2008. Both parties to respond to written
discovery on or before December 19, 2008. Oral depositions of fact witnesses (non expert) to be
completed on or before March 19, 2009. Schedule for expert discovery will be discussed at the
next status conference. No further extensions will be entertained without good cause.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to appear at a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on January 8, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. The telephonic conference
must be initiated by the complainants, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its own
appearance. At the conference the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-
captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
