    (UST Appeal)
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by G.T. Girard):
On June 19, 2008, at the parties’ request, the Board extended until September 17, 2008,
the time period for Veach Oil Company (Veach) to appeal a May 13, 2008 determination of the
    Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency).
    See
    415 ILCS 5/40(a)(1) (2006); 35 Ill.
Adm. Code 105.406. The Agency’s determination concerns a leaking petroleum underground
storage tank (UST) site located at 1110 Washington in Cairo, Alexander County. In its
determination, the Agency denied Veach reimbursement from the UST Fund in the amount of
$3,069.07. Because Veach failed to timely file an appeal, the Board dismisses this case and
    closes the docket.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, John Therriault, Assistant Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, certify that the
Board adopted the above order on September 30, 2008, by a vote of 4-0.
