sting was very limited, no independent labs verified the results, and no
1-site testing was conducted at the landfills where the material will be
sposed. PDC's proposal simply shifts the risks to safe drinking water to
immunities over the Mahomet aquifer instead of the San Koty. Please

concerned about the precedent being set if Peoria Sspiollisrl
Company is granted delisting of Electric Arc Furnace Dust waste.
There has been no independent testing of the new treatment
process PDC claims is safe. Their own testing occurred only in P'
December 2007 and February 2008, yet this waste could be in
our local landfills, including ones over the Mahomet Aquifer, forever.
I am concerned about dioxins, furans, mercury, and other heavy
metals leaching from this waste. If delisting is granted, PDC will
be able to send their treated EAF to any municipal waste landfill
in Illinois. I believe this violates factors of the IL Environmental
Protection Act, which require considerations of existing physical
conditions, receiving body of water and other issues. I am strongly
opposed to this delisting request and urge that it be denied.
