EXXONMOBIL'S RESPONSE TO BOARD'S QUESTIONS
In its March 2, 2006 Order (at p. 3), the Illinois Pollution Control Board (the "Board")
directed ExxonMobil to address the following questions:

RESPONSE:
We understand that the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (the
"Agency") will address
this issue and will provide additional information in support of the appropriateness of revising
the total dissolved solids (TDS) standard in the Lower Des Plaines River Segment. However,
