PROPOSED REGULATIONS REGARDING
COMPLEX SOURCES OF AIR POLLUTION
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by
Mr.
Seaman):
On December 19, 1973, the last of a series of six
public hearings regarding Complex Sources of Air Pollution
(R 73—9) was held at the Metropolitan Sanitary District
Building in Chicago, Illinois. At the conclusion of that
hearing, Mr. Seaman, Participating Member of the Board,
ordered that the record remain open for a period of thirty
days for reception of comments thereon.
Subsequently, the Institute
Ror
Environmental Quality
was requested to submit to the Board a study of the probable
state-wide economic impact which may be expected should the
Board adopt the proposed amendments in their current
form.
Inasmuch as the Board’s decision will await the Institute
report, and as the Board is interested in receiving as much
citizen comment as possible, it is hereby ordered that the
record in R 73-9 shall be held open until April 30, 1974.
