: NO. Emissions from
Stationary Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines and Turbines
: Amend-
ments to 35111
. Adm. Code Section 201
.146 and Parts 211 and 217, (R07-18)
Dear Chairman Girard :
Thank you for your May 2, 2007, letter requesting the Department of Commerce and
Economic Opportunity ("Department") to conduct an economic impact study concerning the
IEPA's proposal to reduce NO, emissions from stationary reciprocating internal combustion en-
gines and turbines
.
The Department has reviewed the Board's request for an Economic Impact Study for
IEPA's proposal
. Based on this review, and in light of continued fiscal constraints, the Depart-
ment has decided not to conduct a study of the economic impact of the above referenced rule-
making proposal.
Thank you for soliciting the Department's input in this matter
.
