    This matter comes before the Board upon
    a Motion for
    Additional Time
    to Respond
    to Board Order
    filed on June
    8,
    1989
    by petitioner, Village
    of North Aurora
    (“North Aurora”).
    On October
    15,
    1987,
    the Board granted North Aurora’s
    request for
    a variance.
    On April
    14,
    1989, North Aurora filed
    a
    motion to modify the Board’s Order.
    On April
    27,
    1989,
    the Board
    entered
    a more information order
    requiring North Aurora
    to
    respond
    no later than June
    12,
    1989.
    North Aurora states that
    it
    has
    recently retained new legal counsel
    and is unable
    to
    file its
    response
    to the more information order by June 12,
    1989 and
    requests
    an extension of time to and including July
    7,
    1989.
    North Aurora’s motion for an extension of time
    to file its
    response to the April
    27,
    1989 Order
    of
    the Board
    to and
    including
    .luly
    7,
    1989
    is hereby granted.
    The Board notes
    that
    North Aurora has not
    filed
    a waiver
    of decision date.
    The
    instant motion
    is therefore construed
    as a pro tanto waiver
    of
    the decision date extending the due date
    of the decision by
    twenty-five days.
    Lastly,
    the Board notes
    that the filing
    of an
    amended variance petition
    restarts the clock
    for the decision
    date.
