ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by Mr.
Seaman):
On April
10,
1973,
the Board received Petitioner’s
request for a variance to the Board’s rules, regulations,
control and order prohibiting the North Shore Sanitary
District from issuing sewer permits to persons desiring
to construct single family residences
in the Village of
Highland Park,
Illinois.
Petitioner’s attention is hereby directed to Procedural
Rule 401(b)
regarding “affidavits and other proof”. Peti-
tioner has not provided this Board with sufficient informa-
tion and/or evidence upon which to base
a decision.
For
example, the Board will not suffer to speculate about the
magnitude of
a “sUbstantial earnest money deposit” or
Petitioner’s allegation of reliance.
Petitioner
is hereby ordered to file an amended petition
with this Board on or before April
26,
1973,
the amended
petition to contain additional information to aid the Board’s
decision consistent with our Procedural Rule 401.
In the absence of such filing,
the original petition
shall be subject to dismissal.
