HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On January 4, 2006, a telephonic status conference was held. The complainant
represented that it appears that a settlement with First Rockford Group, Inc., and Schlichting &
Sons Excavating, Inc., (Schlichting) has been reached. Respective stipulations and proposals for
settlement are or will be circulated for review and signatures. To that end, Schlichting is given
until March 17, 2006, to file its answer, if needed.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on March 9, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
