HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On March 31, 2006, the parties submitted a joint proposed discovery schedule. The
proposed discovery schedule is accepted to the extent as follows. Written discovery, including
but limited to, interrogatories and document requests must be propounded on or before June 1,
2006. Responses to written discovery must be completed on or before July 3, 2006. Notices of
deposition, including but not limited to, depositions, subpoenas and
subpoena duces tecum
must
be served on or before August 3, 2006. Oral discovery must be completed on or before
September 5, 2006. All potentially dispositive motions must be filed on or before October 18,
2006. Nothing in this discovery schedule precludes the filing of any motion or form of discovery
prior to the date set forth above and any such earlier filing will not preclude the filing of
additional discovery of that type so long as the additional discovery is timely as provided in this
discovery schedule.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on May 24, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
