On January
4,
1988,
Amoco Chemical Company (“Amoco”) filed
a
petition for variance for its facilities
in Joliet, Willow
Springs, and Wood River,
Illinois.
The Board set the matter for
hearing.
By Order
of January 21,
1988,
the Board rescinded it’s
original Order,
as
the facilities
in question were located
in
separate counties,
necessitating hearings
in each of those
counties where the facilities are located.
On March
7,
1988, Amoco filed three separate amended
petitions
for variance, one for each of its facilities.
The
Board has issued three new docket numbers
for those facilities:
Wood River,
Illinois as PCB 88—44;
Joliet,
Illinois as PCB 88—45;
and Willow Springs,
Illinois as PCB 88—46.
The Board hereby dismisses docket PCB 88—1.
