RESPONSE TO PURPORTED FACTUAL STATEMENTS
THAT ARE IN FACT INACCURATE MISSTATEMENTS
POIIution Control Board
1 . Neither Georgia Shank or Steve Shank operate a `facility'
.
2. Since the above DO NOT operate a `facility' no IEPA permit
is necessary .
RESPONSE TO INACCURATE REFERENCES LEADING TO
INACCURATE `Administrative Citation' .
1. Shank did not cause or allow open dumping including any
General construction or demolition debris
.
2. Shank did not cause or allow open burning
.
FACT
Due to several inaccurate or inconsistent statements made in
the report by Greenville Fire Protection District and/or Kendall
Couch, certain assumptions have been made by IEPA that are
baseless .
Additionally, should Kendall Couch have made a complete inspection
of the property, he should have been able to determine that purported
`burn pile' resulted from removal of tree line on east line of property
.
Several items embedded in tree line had been previously delivered to
an authorized landfill, PHOTOGRAPHS ATTACH INDICATED BALANCE
of items referenced in complaint have been disposed of as of April 29, 2006
.
Additionally, TIRE SHRED will now be converted to landscape mulch and
recreational playground base, both indicated as legal uses by a representative
of IEPA .
