HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 26, 2006, the parties informed the hearing officer that they are awaiting a
response from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency regarding the technical material that
was forwarded to it. To that end, complainant is directed to file its response to the respondent’s
affirmative defenses on or before September 29, 2006.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on September 21, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further notice.
