You should have received a letter from myself dated June 29, 2006 expressing my appreciation

to the Illinois Pollution Control Board (IPCB) for the time and effort that was put into the above

referenced rulemaking and for ruling to dismiss Subdocket B . In addition to myself, the

employees of United Science Industries, Inc . (USI) wish to thank the Board for their time and

effort in this same manner. As you know, many of the employees of USI expressed their

concerns and opinions throughout the rulemaking process

.

Attached are copies of

correspondence from our employees thanking the IPCB for their commitment

.

Finally, and most importantly, also attached are copies of thank you statements from numerous

underground storage tank owners/operators that our firm serves or represents as well as other

LUST service providers throughout Illinois . Although it appears that the tank owners/operators

from across the State that we have polled generally object to limiting reimbursement as is now

required under the Subdocket A ruling (in respect to costs associated with remediation below

Tier II TACO standards and for groundwater remediation where an ordinance is in place) they

were very pleased that the Board ruled to dismiss Subdocket B because of its problematic nature

in regards to the reimbursement of professional consulting costs . Therefore, the copies of the

attached thank you statements are limited to the dismissal of Subdocket B to the extent that

Subdocket B pertained to professional consulting costs

.
