    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by Mr. Goodman):
    In 1977, Congress passed amendments
    to the Clean Air Act,
    42 U.S.C.
    7401 et seq.
    (effective August
    7,
    1977)
    .
    In response
    to those amendments and as part of its on—going examination of
    its regulations,
    the Board is currently considering several
    amendments
    to its Air Pollution Regulations:
    Chapter
    2 of its
    Rules and Regulations.
    Those rules currently being considered
    include rules governing hydrocarbon emissions
    (R78—3, —4)
    particulate emissions
    (R78—lD, -11)
    ,
    sulfur dioxide emission
    (R75—5, R74—2,
    R78—14), and others.
    Rule
    203(g) (1) adopted by the Board pursuant to R7l-23, regu-
    lates particulate emissions from fuel combustion emission sources
    using solid
    fuel.
    The Board finds
    that the Clean Air Act Amend-
    ments
    of 1977 as well as
    the Board~sinterest in on-going evalu-
    ation of its regulations dictate re-examination of Rule 203(g) (1).
    The Board,
    therefore, orders that hearings pursuant
    to Sections
    27(a)
    and 27(b)
    of the Environmental Protection Act be set to
    consider the desirability of modifying or continuing
    in effect,
    •as adopted pursuant to R71-23,
    Rule 203(g) (1).
    This matter shall
    be docketed R78-16.
    The Board notes that information pertinent to this proceeding
    may be contained in records
    of prior proceedings before the Board,
    including R7l-23,
    R75—5 and R74-2.
    The Board will consider incor-
    porating the records or any portions of the records of these
    proceedings into this record upon motion by any participant.
    Finally,
    a proposal
    to amend Rule
    203(g) (1)
    by
    adding a
    paragraph applicable only
    to the Rochelle Municipal Steam Power
    Plant has been submitted by the City of Rochelle.
    The Board
    hereby orders that proposal,
    docketed R78-15,
    set for hearing
    and consolidates
    it with R78-l6 for purposes of hearing.
