HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On July 6, 2006, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the hearing
officer. The petitioner represented that the two non-parties have reviewed the settlement
document and submitted their respective comments. The petitioner represented that it will
incorporate the comments into the settlement document and forward it for the second review and
approval.
The petitioner represented that it will not file a response to County of Lake’s motion for
joinder of Village of Lake Villa and Village of Fox Lake, filed December 14, 2005. It was
agreed that responses to all other outstanding motions are now due on or before September 28,
2006.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on September 14, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the petitioner, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
