ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J.D. Dumelle):
In a letter dated August 18,
1980,
St. Clair County Housing
Authority
(SCCHA) requests a modification to the Board’s Order
in
PCB 80—83 issued August
7,
1980.
On September
2, 1980,
the
Illinois Environmental Protection Agency filed a response to that
motion and a Motion for leave to file.
That motion is hereby
granted,
and the Board has considered the response.
The Board
finds that there
is no reason to modify that Order and will treat
the letter as a Motion for Clarification, which is hereby
granted.
In that Order, the Board granted the variance requested
subject to several conditions involving petitioner SCCHA and the
Metro East Sanitary District
(Metro).
The conditions imposed
upon Metro were included,
as stated in the opinion, to “better
inform the Board as to the present status of improvements to the
Cahokia Trunk Sewer and as to when repairs will be completed.”
The grant of the variance to SCCHA is not intended to be
contingent upon the conditions imposed on Metro.
IT SO ORDERED.
I,
Christan L. Moffett,
Clerk of the Illinois Pollution
Control Board, hereby certify that the above Order was~adoptedon
