v.
)
PCF 75—241
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY,
Respondent.
SUPPLEMENTAL STATEMENT
(by Mr.
Dumelle):
While
I voted for the grant of this variance
I would have done
so without conditioning the connection of the housing project to
the completion of the interceptor sewer and
to the operation of the
regional sewage treatment plant.
The Federal
loan and mortgage insurance may be
in
jeopardy
because of this condition.
If this proves
to be
so, then
I would
hope that the Petitioners would promptly ask for a variance from
this condition of the Board Order.
Safe and sanitary housing for
low income persons
is 3lso an environmental necessity.
And the
degradation of the Rock River,
if any, from the Silvis discharges
is not specified but only to be ineerred from the effluent data.
