Opinion and Order of the Board

Currie):

This petition sought

a variance

to permit connection of

two homes

to sewers tributary

to

a treatment plant of the Elgin

Sanitary District, which the Agency had forbidden because of the

state of the treatment plant.

The parties have both moved

to

dismiss on the ground that the Agency has lifted its connection

ban in light of improvements

to

the plant.

Since

the Agency

has expressed its intention

to issue the connection permit the

case before us

is moot

and

is hereby dismissed.
