    Opinion
    of
    the
    Board
    (by
    Mr.
    Currie):
    Ravinia
    asks
    to
    burn
    two
    trees
    infected
    with
    Dutch
    elm
    disease.
    We
    have
    granted
    such
    requests
    I?efore
    because
    the
    need
    to
    stop
    the
spread of disease far outweighs the harm from burning, so long as
it is done in the proper place and manner.
