ORDER OF
THE
BOARD
(by J.
0.
Dumelle);
This matter comes before the Board upon an April
19,
1984
motion filed on behalf of the Chrysler Corporation requesting
that the variance granted
it on January 13,
1983 in PCB 82—108 be
revoked.
Chrysler alleges that it has come into compliance
through the installation of a Cathodic E-coat prime coat facility
and that it has applied for an operating permit for that facility,
hut has been informed by the Air Pollution Control Division of
the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency
(Agency) that “revoca-~
tion
is
required
prior
to Cathodic E—Coat operating permit
issuance.
The
Motion
fails
to
explain
why
the
Agency
believes
such
revocation
is necessary prior
to
permit
issuance.
However, since
variance
is no longer necessary,
the motion to revoke
is hereby
granted.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Christan L. Moffett, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution
Control BWd
